Blog Post 7

My challenge for this week is my grammar. I recently found out in my meeting that my grammar is what is keeping my grade down. I have a lot lower grade than I feel I should because of it. So now I will be writing it first on word to give me a spell check. I refuse to let a little thing such as a grammar hold me back from the grade I deserve so I will work on it as I have my length to make sure I can improve and make the grades I need to make.

I am also writing this week’s blog post a day early due to the fact I have to get in 2 hours of study hall time a week. The 2 hours a week are mandatory for me. And frankly I enjoy it. Its 2 hours I can get solid work in without distractions this is one thing I learned could help me out a lot. If needed be I can get tutors to help me out on any subject I need. I think even though my grade is a little low now I can pull it up pretty fast by just typing it on word first so I’m going to see how much better I do first before I hit up the tutors.

  1. Typing and editing your blog post in word is definitely something that I would recommend. I do and it catches the misspelled and repeated words, consequently the outcome of my blog posts are much better. I also think that the mandatory two hours of study hall will be benefitical because the more time you have to complete an assignment the better the product.

  2. I learned really fast that typing your blog on word is a really good idea. My first few posts were pretty bad because of the length and the comma splices. And since my computer crashed I no longer have word. So I have to pay attention to what I write, and how I write it. Grammar is a key thing in writing. Thats what this assessment is for. To let you know what you need to improve on so you can get your grade higher!

  3. I just figured out that trick to so that I could get my length down pat and to get everything in order. I found out it helps take off the pressure of just writing in the blog for me. I'm glad that I'm not the only one that just figured that out lol.

  4. I don't think your grammar is that bad you just make a few minor mistakes. Good grammar all comes with practice. Looking back and making sure you don't have any mistakes and if you do correct them.

  5. It really sucks to not get the grade you deserve for something as trivial as grammer. I personally dont think that grammer should effect your grade to much, because if the reader is intelligent they should be able to pick up on what youre saying. I hope you correct your grammer for the sake of your grade. Itd be a shame to not get a good grade for such a small thing.
